Thank You

The Comics Launch was a great success. A brilliant night celebrating the huge efforts of our contributors. With great talks and performances from Sam Orchard, Jeremy Bishop, Michael Onslow-Osborne and Nicola Brady (Rickitinic).

A massive thank you to our contributors, Lucy Meyle, Sam Orchard, Michael Onslow-Osborne, Richard Richards, Nicola Brady, Laura McMillan, Sarah Webb and Thomas Casey for staying on to sign and draw in Potroast on the night. I am super stoked with my own issue which you all added to.

A great big thank you to all of you who made it to the launch. I hope you managed to get some or all of the contributors at the launch to sign or draw in your issue. It’s great to think that Potroast fans have their own individualised issues!

A massive thank you to the Auckland Library for having us. The whare on level 2 is a great venue. And we were really pleased to be able to be part of Comic Book Month.

For those of you who contributed and are current subscribers, your issue will be sent out to you in the coming week.

For subscribers, your issue is a bonus one, and as this issue cost us a lot in printing (paper size etc) Potroast would welcome donations/koha for these to cover costs. If you’re keen to contribute, the Potroast bank details are ASB 12-3066-0393146-00. And drop us an email so that we can thank you!
Once again, thank you to everyone involved. Thank you for coming. Thank you for supporting Potroast!

Watch this space for photos! And Sam Orchard has promised us we can post online the comic he showed us at the launch, so that will be coming soon too!
